There are many type of PDO threats to lift, stimulate collagen and or tighten sagging skin tissues using threads made of polydioxanone. The thread is placed deep into the layer of the skin and produces three effects:
– Instant skin lifting through mechanical effects (degree varies on the individual) we will discuss at your appointment if the lifting threads or barbed threads are appropriate for you and your goals.
– Collagen stimulation and neovascularization to improve texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Skin tightening by approximating tissues.
– Threads will disappear through hydrolysis after six months. The lifted facial tissues can remain for up to two years but typically one year or less.
VI Peels are a medium depth chemical peel for tone and texture, sun damage, pigment, melasma, fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, and acne. These peels are very comfortable. Everyone one and every peel is different; Peeling can vary from a light peeling to a sheet of peeling. You may not peels as much if you have very oily skin, use retinol products, exfoliate on a regular basis, have or laser/resurfacing treatments regularly. If your peel is not heavy you are still getting exfoliating at a cellular level which is not visible to the naked eye.
